This grant funds research into TANGO2-related disease, a rare genetic disorder that can affect multiple body systems. It supports clinical, basic-science and community research intended to improve understanding of the disease, identify potential treatments, improve patient care and address the needs of affected families. International researchers are eligible to apply.
Requirements checklist

Applicants must hold a terminal degree, such as an MD, DO, PhD, NP or international equivalent.

Applicants must work at an academic medical institution or eligible nonprofit or research institution.

The proposed project must directly address TANGO2-related disease.

Applicants must submit a Letter of Intent by the deadline.

Only invited applicants can submit full proposals.

Postdoctoral researchers are eligible only if they can document that they will begin a faculty-level or equivalent position by the start of the funding period in July 2027
