The Creative NSW Collaboration Fund supports ambitious artistic projects that bring together different creative disciplines to develop and present new work or substantially expand an existing creative project. It is intended to help mid-career and established practitioners create larger-scale experiences, reach new audiences, strengthen professional networks, and develop projects with the potential to tour, be remounted, or reach interstate and international markets. The programme prioritises collaborations that demonstrate strong public visibility and connect with major festival periods or NSW cultural institutions. Projects should show a clear artistic purpose, a credible partnership structure, and a realistic plan for delivering activities and engaging audiences. This is a substantial project fund rather than a small individual artist stipend.
Requirements checklist

The lead applicant must have an Australian Business Number (ABN) for an entity registered in New South Wales.

The applicant must hold a business account with an Australian financial institution.

Eligible applicant types include NSW cultural institutions, incorporated associations, eligible incorporated trustees, registered charities or not-for-profit organisations, tertiary institutions delivering creative-industry programmes, NSW local government bodies, and eligible consortia led by a suitable organisation.

The project must involve creative collaboration across disciplines and deliver new or significantly expanded artistic activity.

The proposal should demonstrate a strong artistic vision, public visibility, audience-development potential, and a realistic delivery plan.

Applicants must explain the roles of participating artists and partners, the proposed activities, the expected outcomes, and the project's contribution to the NSW creative sector.
