IHS Housing Reform: FromPolicy to Lasting Outcomes
All Information
This research grant supports scholars investigating the design, implementation and outcomes of housing reforms. It is intended to encourage research into how housing policies work in practice, why some reforms succeed or fail, and what their effects are on communities and economic opportunity. Potential research topics may include housing supply, land-use regulation, affordability, barriers to construction, housing-market institutions and the consequences of policy changes. Strong projects should move beyond broad arguments and investigate specific questions using credible evidence. Interdisciplinary proposals are encouraged where they help explain the relationship between policy design and real-world outcomes.
