All Information

The Overseas Grants programme supports projects improving the livelihoods of disadvantaged communities in Commonwealth countries in Africa. Its priorities include access to clean water and sanitation, sustainable livelihoods connected to environmental and wildlife conservation, and farming or income-generation skills that enable communities to become more self-sufficient. The programme is particularly relevant to projects that combine practical service delivery with community participation and a credible plan for continuing benefits after the grant ends. A project in Nigeria could be relevant if it addresses one of the stated priorities and is delivered by an eligible UK-registered charity with a proven local partner.
