This grant supports events and activities that promote Korean literature to readers outside Korea. It can fund international literary events, programmes featuring Korean writers or translators, promotional videos, audio content, marketing for translated Korean books, and other activities that help Korean literature reach new audiences. Nigerian writers, translators, publishers, literary organisations, and creative content producers can potentially apply if their project specifically promotes Korean literature to overseas readers. It is a project grant, not a personal stipend.
Requirements checklist

Apply as an individual or organisation based in Korea or abroad.

Propose a project that promotes Korean literature to international readers.

Submit a clear project plan, timetable, target audience, promotional strategy, and itemised budget.

Ensure the project has not already received overlapping Korean public funding.

Include eligible direct project costs only; personal expenses and asset purchases are excluded.

Register and submit through the official KLWAVE online portal.
- 07
Complete the required final report and provide receipts after the project.
