Thémis Programme 2027: ResearchMobility Grant
All Information
The Thémis Programme provides mobility funding to researchers whose work or fieldwork is obstructed by restrictions on academic freedom. It enables selected researchers to undertake a two- to three-month research stay in France, including archival work, library research, and fieldwork-related activities. Researchers of any nationality may apply, including Nigerian researchers, provided they can demonstrate that their research or working circumstances are affected by the relevant restrictions. Applicants need a qualifying research background and a French host institution, making this a specialist academic grant rather than general study-abroad funding.
