Rainforest Trust: Protected andConserved Area Creation Awards
All Information
Rainforest Trust funds conservation organisations working to create or expand protected and conserved areas that deliver lasting protection for biodiversity. Its support is intended for direct conservation action, including legal designation, land protection and other recognised approaches to conserving important habitats. The funder accepts concept notes throughout the year and works with eligible applicants whose proposals align with its priorities. It is most suitable for established conservation organisations or local project implementers with credible land-protection plans, community engagement and a clear route to long-term conservation outcomes. It does not generally fund standalone ecological monitoring or large-scale tree-planting projects.
