African Bird Club: Conservationand Expedition Awards
All Information
The African Bird Club funds projects that contribute to bird conservation and the protection of important habitats across Africa. Its Conservation Awards can support work such as field surveys, habitat protection, conservation education, local training, and research that improves understanding of threatened bird species or important bird areas. Its Expedition Awards support larger projects carried out outside the applicant’s home country. Nigerian conservationists, researchers, and eligible local organisations can consider the programme if they present a well-designed project with measurable conservation benefits. Although this is not a worldwide programme for projects in any region, it is a relevant regional funding opportunity for applicants working in Nigeria or elsewhere in Africa.
