Circular and POPs-Free Plasticsin Africa: Female Postgraduate Research Grant
All Information
This research grant provides financial assistance to female postgraduate researchers investigating persistent organic pollutants (POPs), hazardous chemicals and related pollution in plastics and other articles. The programme is specifically designed for researchers studying the environmental and health risks associated with these substances, including research relevant to circular-economy approaches and improved chemicals management. Nigerian applicants are explicitly included among the eligible nationalities, making this a particularly relevant opportunity for a qualifying postgraduate student at a recognised Nigerian university. The grant is a fixed research contribution, rather than unrestricted personal funding, and the project must already have university approval.
