Mathematics in Africa: Researchand Mobility (MARM) Partnership Grants: Round 8

Days left13w leftJanuary 18, 2027

All Information

The MARM Partnership Grants support collaborative relationships between mathematics departments in Africa and partner institutions in the United Kingdom or continental Europe. The programme aims to strengthen mathematics research, academic networks, teaching capacity and institutional development through practical collaboration. Activities may include academic exchanges, workshops, joint research, postgraduate supervision, mentoring and improvements to departmental research capacity. Nigerian universities are within the programme's demonstrated geographic reach, and Nigerian mathematics departments have participated in earlier rounds. The funding is awarded to a partnership rather than as a personal grant to an individual researcher, so applicants should establish a credible institutional collaboration before preparing the proposal.
