The Uppsala University Global Scholarship is a competitive award for academically talented international students applying for eligible master’s programmes. It covers the tuition fee for the selected programme, reducing a major cost of studying in Sweden. Nigerian applicants are eligible because the award is open to citizens of countries outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland. Applicants must submit a complete admission application and make their chosen Uppsala master’s programme their first priority. The award is highly competitive and does not provide a living allowance, so students must arrange funding for accommodation, food, travel and other personal expenses.
