The Abu Dhabi International Competition for Composition invites composers from different countries to submit original contemporary music for international recognition. Selected compositions are assessed by a specialist jury, and the competition provides an opportunity for composers to have their work recognised and performed. The competition is suitable for composers developing original orchestral or contemporary compositions, but applicants must carefully follow the anonymity and originality rules.
Requirements checklist

Applicants must have been born after 31 December 1976.

Applicants of all nationalities may apply.
- 03
The composition must be original, unpublished, uncommissioned and previously unperformed.
- 04
Submit the required score, audio materials and programme notes anonymously.
- 05
Previous laureates of an ADICC edition are ineligible.
