Visions du Réel: VdR–Pitching2027

VdR–Pitching connects documentary filmmakers with international producers, financiers, distributors and other industry professionals. It is intended for feature-length documentary projects in a late development phase that are seeking international partners and financing. Projects from around the world can apply, and applicants do not need to have secured financing before submitting. Selection provides an industry pitching and networking opportunity, rather than a guaranteed cash grant.

Requirements checklist

    The project must be planned as a feature-length film of more than 60 minutes.

  2. 02

    It must be in late development and not yet in production.

  3. 03

    The project must be presented publicly for the first time at Visions du Réel.

  4. 04

    Short films, series and interactive projects are not eligible.

  5. 05

    Prepare the project materials required by the official submission form.
