The Elevar Fund supports nonprofit organisations developing practical solutions to community and social challenges. Its open call considers projects at different stages, from early development to expansion, provided the organisation fits the funder’s eligibility rules. The programme can be useful for established nonprofits with a clear plan, measurable outcomes and the capacity to implement a project. However, the fund is not globally accessible to individuals or unregistered groups: applicants must satisfy the US tax-exempt organisation requirements, and priority is given to organisations serving the Dayton, Ohio region and surrounding area.
Requirements checklist

Be an eligible tax-exempt nonprofit under section 501(c)(3) of the US Internal Revenue Code.

Submit a Letter of Inquiry through the fund’s application portal.

Wait for an invitation before preparing a full grant proposal.

Explain the problem, proposed solution, intended beneficiaries and measurable impact.

Provide an appropriate project budget and implementation plan.
